2/11/2021 Welcome Dr. Yuepeng Sun to join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Associate!

Dr. Yuepeng Sun will join Dr. Wang’s team as a postdoctoral fellow in Summer 2021. He completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University. His doctoral research focused on the role of quorum sensing in partial nitritation-Anammox process. After his doctoral study, he joined the University of Nebraska at Lincoln as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering where he investigated the fate and transport of antibiotic resistance genes in wastewater and soil-plant ecosystem. His research involved both dry and wet lab approaches including methods in molecular biology such as qPCR, in environmental microbiology such as metagenomics and transcriptomics; analytical tools such as LC/MS/MS, and machine learning models.
